Things That Made Me Laugh on the Subway Last Night 1. These shoes! The picture doesn’t do it justice because I was trying to hide how creepy I was being, but I giggled for at least three stops about these tattered, beat-up tasseled loafers. You guys! They looked like something a kitten would wear to tap dance in. It was too much.2. A couple sitting in a two-seater to my right. They weren’t really sitting so much as cuddling in an almost horizontal position. She was the little spoon and laying with her back on his chest and they lazily flipped through a magazine together like they were in an Ikea catalog. I don’t really understand people who can get so comfortable on public transportation. I think they are the same people who “forget” to include a tip when the check comes around the table at a big group dinner. It’s just a feeling I have.
